~Tuesday, November 09, 2004 ~ Diving trip to tioman!friday, 5th novhmm woke up at 8,30am like tt.. teach 10-12plus.. then took my time to go down jj... both xuanhui n weiqi were late.. waited for them at the busstop til i wanna fall asleep.. then we went in.. to find most teachers were gone.. found MDM lee our ex form teacher.. heheee so we proceeded to the new cafe upstairs n i had my light lunch... lee lao shi's treat! haha so we sat n chit chat til close to 2.30pm like tt.. went down.. sat in staff room to chitchat some more.. til 3plus.. haha then the 3 of us took bus 198.. they go jurong east n i go home. need to pack my stuff for the diving trip! heehee packed halfway.. went to provence to buy sandwiches then home.. pack pack.. then online.., abit rush sia.. then pack pack pack.. no time to bathe.. heehee change clothes n left le... oh went by nus to pass 2 bottles of red wine for samuel's bday party.. heehee walao he's not in sch yet.. diao...passed to his frds n i lef tot meet candice at fs where she was accompanying yongning having dinner.. reached seaborne at 7pm... did all necesary checks n paper work... then board the bus ard 8pm.. went thru tuas checkpt....then went to 5 star foodcourt for supper.. which me n candice ate the remaining sandwich i bought... the rest bought food to eat there... heh so stupid coz never bring ringgit lor... haha can change there la but tot tt it's quite pointless coz we'll be on the boat most of the time.. not on land.. along the way stopped at projet kiosk petrol station to meet up w ronald, brandon n weiyan who were in ronald's car... they took some time.. needed to wait for them coz there's a flood along the way to the boat which his car cant get past... then reached the boat quite late man.. ard 12plus am.. then the boat was on its way to the dive site while we slept.. took the motion sickness pill after the boat starts to move after sometime coz i have a bad feeling i'll get it.. candice also took.. the weather wasnt good so the ride was super bumpy.. didnt have much sleep.. slept ard 2plus am... supposed to be going to pulau aur n dayang for the trip but i think due to the bad weather it was changed to pulau tioman...hmm was kinda worried on the journey to the boat coz i'll never forgwet how sad i was due to the 'incident' tt happened when i took my diving course over tt wkend... always got reminded of it when im in the sea... i was worried tt will affect my mood....heng eventually my worries were unfound to a large extent though i still think about it now n then... i think im getting over it n moving on... well at least i try to... sat, 6th nov woke up ard 7.30am.. 1st dive was 8plus am.. wah super early man.. not enuff sleep abit feel like dying.. heh nescafe to the rescue! well well kinda lost man both me n candice coz we've forgotten almost everything! haha sad hor.. then the other leisure divers were all rather experienced man... abit paiseh... but bobian lor.. our 1st dive trip ever since we took the basic course in feb/march... then 1st dive was abit horrendous.. haha cant sink well into the sea lor.. sad hor...but nevetheless saw some interesting n nice fishes... saw clown fish, parrot fish.. etc dunno the names... think they saw some other interesting fishes while i was busy trying to control my buoyancy.. oh well... will be better w more experience... then had breakfast like close to lunch time? haha sorry didnt bring watch so kinda lost in time... then relak for a while n then go for 2nd dive.. well... getting used to it but still cant control my buoyancy.. thanx to alan who was trying to help/guide me n candice.. heehee he very experienced leh but is on a leisure trip... oh btw he knows ronald too...when ronald started out this compnay (fyi, ronald is one of the boss for the company.. and yes, this boat is his!) oh ya, the ppl who were on this trip r: ronald, victoria(staff) n her bf(ronnie) who was taking the advanced course, brandon(staff), ken(super exp diver, staff), weiyan(17yr old kid in jjc 04s4! walao almost teach him), alan n his gf/wife ligaya, ppl taking basic course -- ken teo, dunlin, angeline, ashley(xinhui), huiqing, casey n zhiwei(couple), candice n me! was feeling torturous (i believe same for candice!) very tiring to wear the wetsuit n gear up! heavy oxygen tank.... lunch was nice.. sorry due to my poor memory i cant exactly rem wat i had for lunch after 2nd dive... hmm... will amend this entry when i recall.. lunch was REALLY late...4plus pm? then 3rd dive ard 6plus pm.. getting darker liao... so went for the last dive for the day b4 the sun sets.. oh, a very funny incident happened... but i didnt get to witness it n was feeling abit guilty about it.. coz alan was helping to pull me down coz i added too much air into my BC n floating too fast to the surface... then unfortunately, the 2pound weight which he put in his BC pocket fell out as the poeckt broke n the weight sunk... n hit wieyan on his head!!!! ken was laffing like mad in the water n he had to ascend... he witnessed the entire incident n saw the weight floating down from alan's pocket n hit weiyan... poor weiyan was victimised n got a lump on his head... and so ken or weiyan brought up the weight from the bottom of the water... weiyan said he wanna bring tt home as a souvenior.. heehee and so ken was just so amused by this incident tt he kept on bringing up over n over again... well was quite paiseh n dun dare to laff coz it was partly my fault tt he was above the water but it's abit too sad tt weiyan was right below him...hmm end of the day got to know weiyan better.. he took up diving this yr only! n already dive more than 30 times! took his advanced already... how cool is tt... so he's always with us for pairing n taking care for the leisure group during the dives.. heh pretty weird hor.. told him im the relief teacher back in jjc for mdm sim.. haha he said he didnt see me but o coz la.. i dun teach him ma.. how to see.. his bio teacher is esther lee.. haha anyway at nite we were all looking out for squids aka sotong coz they r attracted by light one... turtle sightings were spotted a couple of times b4 sun set totally... heh the advanced divers all went for nite dive while everyone else was bathing n waiting for dinner... ken brought weiyan to fish in front of the deck... they used big prawns which were meant for dinner! then me n candice went to join them.. we watched la.. saw jellyfish!!!!!!! heehee quite big leh too bad no see while diving.. then switched to fishing for squids... dinner was awesome.. steamboat w satay lotsa mushrooms! heehee... i love fruits! every meal eat quite abit of fruits... they caught a no of squids!! haha brandon was so hooked on to catching them tt he cant stop doing it! ronald joined in... then everyone was pretty tired and all the basic course ppl went up to the deck to sleep pretty early... well wasnt quite tt early... 11plus pm.. then i watched abit of the movie.. oh i finished shrek 2... last time i watched only half way.. heehee on laptop.. ken start to take the leisure divers since 3rd dive n his pretty nice.. he's very crazy one actually but he's so quiet if u dunno him.. then im the last person to go up to the deck to sleep... i walked by then he asked sleep liao arh? so early? then i just smiled.. heehe he said dun wanna watch midnight movie arh.. oh well thus he became the main suspect for the midnight sunblock assault on almost everyone's face.. i slept on top of the big container which they keep some stuff inside coz no more space on the floor of the deck... the funny thing was i dunno why i wake up but i did while ken was putting the sunblock on me! haha i heard someone was laffing n 'escaping' in a distance but obviously if i wake up now and find out who is it will be useless.. so i wiped away all the sunblock on my face n back to sleep... 7th nov, sun woken up by brandon in the morn at 7.40am.. heh he so poor thing coz he got mistaken as the culprit!! haha he said 好心没好报 coz he went up to wake us up n got accused.. heehee anyway i walked past ken n gave him tt suspicious look but he was looking normal.. heehee heng today only got 2 dives or else i cant take it.. was thinking if today got 3 dives i'll skip one.. morning dive taken by ken.... the usual ppl dive w me n candice... alan ligaya weiyan... hm saw stonefish(wateverr it's called) very camouflaged sia.. heehee alot of clown fish.. heehee getting better at bouyancy but still abit cannot make it.. my 4th fingers were both injured in the process of wearing the wetsuit.. sianz man.. and my right ankle behind also 差伤... sniff... wore socks liao but it's getting worse.. breakfast nice~ heehee sumptous as usual.. got curry n prata!!!! yumyum.. the prata so crispy.. heehee oh ken so mean go n poured a cup of ice onto ashley at the dining deck.(2nd lvel).. so she took revenge while he was at the diving deck n poured curry on him! not once, but twice! after he jumped into the sea to clean himself n was washing w fresh water she dumped some more curry on him.. haha so poor thing hor... so after the 2nd jump into the water he turned smart n went into the diving deck immediately n not the boarding area of th diving deck... wel well.., soon after, a cup of horri-gible nasty smelling sotong ice water was thrown up from the diving deck to the dining deck.... unfortunately, i was splashed quite a fw drops n it was soooooo smelly! yeeks... so ashley jumped into the water to clean up the smell n back again.. haha the whole dining deck full of the smell n the water! well then they cleaned up of coz.. and so we went for next leisure dive... this time only 4 of us: ken weiyan candice n me.. coz the other leisure divers n the instructors went for the deep dive... so we hanged ard in the sea for 1 hr!! heehee well kinda enjoyed the last one most coz dun feel so stress anymore.. though i still have problems maintaining my buoyancy.. heeded alan's advice w regards to tt n m coping fine.. though at 1 pt of time i sunk to the bottom w no one giving me a hand lor.. later on candice actually said she saw tt n was amused n laffing in the sea.. i was like duh since u saw it why didnt u gimme a hand!? -_-''' saw ALOT of clown fish... alot of variety of fishes which i dun rem the names after refering to the fishes in south east asia... weiyan saw a starfish n passed to me! heehee so kawaii! all right la... then he passed me a sponge n signalled to me to touch it.. very furry! haha oh after breakfast we were taking a break.resting then very funny leh... aot of ppl sh*tted and we can see them floating in the water as they got flushed out.. yeeks!!! we were so grossed out tt weiyan said can we change the dive site? haha and so tulai bay got nicknamed as sh*t site by us.. hahha we took a group photo taken by 'pro' ronald who went into the water n took a pic of everyone waving in the boat... heehee i went to bathe shortly we came up from the final dive.. heehe nice nice nice.. then had lunch ard 3plus... seafood spaghetti! yumyum.. sotong from last nite's catch... mussels from their own rearing areas, hep B free... some minced beef lotsa veggies, potato-pasta-peas salad... had 1 mussels only coz i dun really like the taste.. heehee abit too rubbery... super full man! then after tt admire the beautiful sea n took a nice pic for the endless ocean.. hehee b luff ppl we were stranded in the sea.. which was sort of true coz a piece of log was trapped in the engine tt turbulator? hmm forgot wat isit.. took a looong time to reach shore.. went to sleep... was feeling sleepy during lunch time already.. prob coz i took the motion sickness pill just in case.. hehee also tired la.. then ard 5plus the 4 of us took a pic.. heehee lalalala oh chatted w ligaya.. she was a teacher in deyi sec n some pri sch previously.. now a tuition teacher in a centre... hmm... was super engrossed in agreeing how screwed up moe is.. haha n i told her tt's why i never ever wanna sign up to be a teacher though i think tt teaching is fun n rewarding.. oh well 6plus we left the boat to transfer to a speed boat to the shore... board the bus ard 7pm n on our way back to singapore! hehe well.. got a jam at woodlands check pt n we turned to tuas checkpt.. took aloooong time.. finally 11pm reached yacht club.. candice dun wanna go makan.. she was tooooo tired to go n wanna go home bathe n sleep... msged nick for supper whom directed me to call shuping.. then ended up no more coz they(nick ping n jinyang) werent hungry yet so i decided to take bus 200 home.. waited for bus w weiyan.. he lives in pasir panjang.. so cool lor got a father who used to dive.. so he got his own eqiupment.., his house was like 4 busstops away i told him to walk home then he said he's carrying his heavy equipments la so take bus.. heehe when it was almost 11.30pm where the last bus is coming, nick msged me they going supper at raffles hall.. called him to reconfirm n i wasnt thinkin much n agreed.. and so i embarked on my lonely, tiring walk from the pasta fresca to raffles hall... wanna die man! i was too tired to rem how far it was til i reached kent ridge bus terminal... it was too late to turn back coz the last bus 200 already left le.. hai.. so reached raffles hall ard 12midnight.. finally bought the yummy omelette ard 12.20am... heehee n so 4 of us having supper (my dinner ok) n then chitchatted n bitching ard.. heehee left ard 1plus am. got on taxi n reached home about 1.30am.. super tiring man. heng next day no work!! heeheehee otherwise i wouldnt have wanna go for makan man... lalalallallaa conclusion: it's damn tiring n i got even more tanned now but i think if i go for more dive trips( which means more $$$) i should be fine.. will consider the advanced course later on ba.. dunno when's the next dive
