~Thursday, December 23, 2004 ~ well well... i think im destined to be a loner.. amongst my beloved instruments.. marimba, drumset, shaker.. as to name a few.. felt soooo left out... didnt perform for alumni band.. well well. usually if i play w the band i wun feel so bad even though i dun tok much to the rest of them... now i attend the concert as though im not part of the alumni.. i felt sad sia.. hai.. sianz.. im quiet as usual.... felt awkward most of the time.. so out of place... then waited for the rest then go makan after concert.. overall i think they r quite ok.. but 7th nite of july i think they didnt play the best one... noah's ark was all right... sat w liang yu during 2nd half.. hmm i feel that the band technically is quit good but the musical sense is not balanced... at least this yr round the woodwinds n brasses sounded quite balanced... hmm perc ensemble was all right.... i dunno why nowadays i think im getting mor critical in a sense.. like actually mayb the std is pretty good liao but i'll still find pts to pick on,.. this happens to all my students/percussion.... realised this is an advantage but then bad in some ways too....supper was at the usual coffeeshop... nice dinner.. 13 of us there... huisi, janice, chuhui, steph, jiayan, shuli, huiying, 1 yg flute junior, shuping, shuzhen, alicia, liangyu..... left ard 11plus.. heng i sit beside jiayan n steph... jiayan's sick so i kia-up food for her... took 74 w liangyu... she IA at f&n.... now sianz... 1.22am n im supposed to be sleeping!! HAI....
