~Monday, January 22, 2007 ~ i saw alot of ppl....hmm.. this wkend i saw alot of frds/ppl i know...ntu concert.. saw my student..came to support the concert.. saw my juniors... angel(of coz la.. her sis played too.. and she fly kite lo.. supposed to perform as well)... moh li... justina n desmond! hee alvin.. leonard tan! chee beng? i think tt;s his name.. a hell lot of other ppl... i cant reca,l right now.. and all just boils down.. the world so small arh.. actually is just tt the scene is so big only... hee after all, i used to play everywhere.. haha oh ppl from ntu alumni... lip hua! huisi.. huixian.. geraldine.. nice to see familiar faces around... it's been a while sia... and i start to feel old.. coz the audience crowd is getting younger liao.. in other words im getting older.. boohoo! oh how can i forget alistair! lol.. he came! oh the sax gal from nusws.. ps i forgot her name.. hee oh who else but of coz justin n jackie who recorded the concert.. it was fun listening to mp3s blasting from my O2 mini n eating chips tt i brought along.. haha it was par-teeeeeei time backstage while waiting for concert to start.. haha and oh so how extra i was standing on stage thru out 2 songs where i only played like a short segment of the song.. i think i should have just hid backstage n when the part comes then i sneak on stage lo.. stupid right... i enjoyed running ard during watsoever things but it was rather panicky coz somehow my fellow percussionist was in my way(vice versa) when tt didnt happened during rehearsal earlier on.. i have no idea why... haha but anyhow.. the concert was enjoyable n the GOH was shuai! heehee very friendly... and the ntu band ppl were all very warm n just like 1 big family.. though i didnt play much for the concert... im looking forward to their trip soon... i hope i can make it in time... b4 i leave SG.. hehe ok.. today was a super duper tiring day... coz after ntu concert, went to makansutra for supper w jus des n tim... after which, supposed to take bus go home.. ended up in xinwang for a cuppa yuanyang.. haha reached home 1plus am n slept at 2plus.. woke up at 8plus lo.. reached cc almost 11am...the stupid 185.. hee waited n waited.. sectionals at 12...then band prac w sec sch ppl 2-5plus.. then we ran thru 2 pieces on our own... damn tired sia.. after tt i was thinkin not to go down for the concert.. very tired ma.. but dun wana waste the tix la.. and i didnt realise the bunch of ppl heading to esp from the cc has already left.. haha anyhow, i took mrt to esp lo... didnt pack any food/bread along the way... =.= i was so scared i would fall asleep during the concert.. heng never... it was rather surprising tt i actually bumped into hanz at the entrance of espl at the underpass.. but either he didnt think it was me or wat.. i took a second look.. coz i was tired n couldnt believe my eyes ma.. but he looked away, i think he was heading to his car.. then it was like 7.15pm le. so i didnt call out to him la.. hee then up to meet up w cloud n huishan.. saw tony mak n eddie! hee louis... kexin huiping my junior yawen ntu ppl... hee ps didnt go up to them... i dun really know if they did see me or not.. i wanted to go up to say hi to anneson but he was back facing me i gave up.. meifeng.. the performers... lip hua(duh) derence adrian chiang(chatted w him for a while b4 end of interval.. he said im slimmer! wahaha actually still the same.. x_X) zhiwei adrian cheong jiaxing lionel munhoe! kaitze xiushan colin huihui dennis sim debbie! tok to her during interval... she's doing fine n going back to aussie in feb for her studies.. i guess alot of ppl dun recognise me leh.. then i was too tired to approach most of them to say hi... not hyper mode.. haha overall concert was good, i like the trumpet soloist! damn zai! conductor not bad la.. dennis sim was farnie! the final piece. hee 1 hand play gong the other play bd... reminds me of nbc.. coz i did tt.. but his actions as per norm so drama.. haha saw some other ppl like steven n khaki.. hmm.. angeline lo... i still wondered if she rem me.. haha after concert saw tony mak again... he n eddie having some clarinet lesson over coffee.. haha went to say hi to eddie.. long time no see le.. hee robert casteels was next table.. =.=''' im quite sure there were even more ppl i know who went for the concert but i didnt go n look ard la.. hee oh! annie's the stage manager again.. coz i saw her daughter.. keke.. my twin sista! i smsed bernie.. lol.. everything was fine... i think i saw bull again.. cut hair lo.. hee after concert wanted to go n say hi to dennis n huihui n shun bian stage crew.. but they were too far and the ushers were chasing ppl out le. lol somehow i was more enthu seeing the backstage ppl... but the feeling was pretty interesting n good... to know the performers n the ppl jagaring the concert... i felt at home! i'd better submit my application form to work there coming wk! after concert makan at makansutra lo.. went to disturb uncle yezid again... haha for ignoring me last nite.. haha oh last nite saw ben too.. hee then down to makan! haha of coz w the nusws ppl... it was like band dinner there lo.. alot of phil winds ppl n of coz the concert goers... hee stayed til ard 11pm then home le.. managed to say hi to derence when he poped over our table.. haha he's so nice as per norm... maciam his solo concert sia... his fans screamed for him across a few tables from us.. tt's quite a distance lo... liew.. haha chingshiong dun recognise me i think.. hee oh today managed to chat abit w teohui.. hee quite a nice person la.. he overslept n came for sectionals late.. haha quite interesting things he has done so far and somehow, it's a kind of life ppl would want to have.. to be able to do the things they wana do without any constraints, typically monetary ones.. haha i happened to take out my california card n he told me he used to work there full time for 2 yrs! hee win liao lo.. now he freelances... awesome! haha im happy w my life as of now... at least im doing wat i like n carefree(to certain extent) n i really hope i can make it to US of A... and can hang ard there for a while b4 heading back to SG... i'll come back here eventually.... =) kk i must sleep now... damn tired!
