interesting facts of the day

one of my student, CX, loves the band im gettting to adore... The Arctic Monkeys... he's got their latest album(earlier one i duno) n know every single song by title. btw i think this band only came up last yr n they r screaming for attention! this fact caught me by surprise coz he's like always feeling stressful.. haha but of coz under my tutelage he's much better/relaxed now! wahaha

i finally bought my student, alvaro's bday present! planned to give a Cd album but never got to go n buy til today... contemplates among Arctic Monkey's Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not , national mercury prize album of the year(2006) and finally settled for the latest new album in town, grammy nominees... it's just a pity there's no arctic monkey song inside!! coz this cute little grade 4?! student of mine never heard of their song b4...i think he's a mix of german,spanish n something else.. very hardworking boy n gave me xmas present! i was so touched lo.. n since his bday was a wk after new yr(yes i procrastinated) i decided to return a gift back... so far this is the 1st time i bought a gift for my student... heehee i belive the pace of teaching/learning is slower than b4 but he enjoys the lesson w me... (was my frd's student til he left) also partly due to the fact he's still new to triplets.. =D but he's doing well n i hope we can progress faster soon!
he was pretty surprised i rem the present.. coz i rem i told him i would get him a present but i didnt tell him i havent got it/too busy to get it so he tot i forgot about it.. heehee ;D

tt's all for now.. 3.17am!!! argh sleep!!!
