~Monday, February 26, 2007 ~ had a great dayhmm... had an enjoyable day today... but feeling sick le... update later k.. pls i dun wana get sick! boohoo can u imagine i was sleeping in sentosa in the evening?! *shake head*oh well... asked a couple of ppl to go sentosa today but only jus n leslie replied... will be going to sentosa w justina a week later so ended up only go w leslie.. hee almost cancelled the trip coz bo lang...leslie was game enuff to go ahead with just the 2 of us... hee he picked me up ard 9.30am i think... then down to vivocity buy stuff for picnic... hee got quite some stuff man... 4 bottles of carlsberg, 1 red wine(forgot the name but was pretty farnie one), a pack of nachos which we never open, distilled water, wasabi chips, seedless grapes..n fish n chips from kopitiam.. hee then we drove into tanjong beach n packed there... sibei shiok arh!!! =D 1st time i felt sooo relaxed by da beach... just like having a vacation somewhere out there(out of sg)... thanks leslie! went for a couple of dips...after which, we went down to siloso, near cafe del mar.. b4 which we bought 6 packs of beer at 7-11 at the beach station... -_-''' the music blasting out of cafe del mar really sets a nice mood... awesome... damn chill out.. by that time, i was having a slight headache n ended up sleeping at the beach lo... til the sun goes down... faintz... he was so nice n patient to wait for me... hee and so we went back to the car to get our stuff to bathe.. b4 which we actually climbed into the new water fountain ( n fire) show area to catch a glimpse of the happening show...and got asked politely to leave.. hahaha tt was fun sia... the 2nd time i climbed over a fence...but this time, successfully! hahaha so proud of myself... then we drove down to palawan shower room to bathe.. hee happening? heehee i think we left sentosa ard 8plus 9plus... down to bukit timah to grab a bite.. he met up w his frds/ex colleagues for a drink/makan... interesting... one of them actually deals w the renovation in MD n sci blocks.. hee then went home after tt... really enjoyed myself the entire day... must make full use of the sunday without band prac ma.. LOL n it really felt like a getaway... peaceful, calm, relaxing... and of coz nice company...hahaha hope to do so again! leslie is really an alcoholic! i think by his standards he's not but drink too much frequently in my opinion.. haha... next day(26 feb) was an unfruitful day for both me n justina... but anyhow, we ended up at marina square changing appetites for early dinner n down to outdoor theatre to disturb my frds again... the same sat(3mar) went down to career fair exhbition... waste of my time.. hahaha sun after prac went down to vivo w justina n desmond after dinner near cc.... walk n walk lo...^_^ mon(5mar) as promised, went to sentosa w justina... just the 2 of us.. had late brunch at coffee bean (all day breakfast!!) n bought snacks in.. hee got VERY tanned by the end of the day.. hahaha relak at siloso, where justina's company DND was held... went for a dip a few times.. went home ard 7plus 8...supposed to go st james w justins after her dnd... made a wasted trip lo.. damn tulan... coz i reach vivo ard 11pm... then they not out yet.. so i hang ard lo.. then jus sms me tt they r not going to come out so soon... and so i left.. coz i dun wana enter st james alone.. moreover, it was pat's off day so he wasnt ard n luke went back for reservist for 2 weeks.. kew was subbing him but i dun wana ask him to bring me in... wana surpirse him instead... and so i took a bus home close to 12midnight n stoned... =( tues after work went to meet candice n jinsong at hooand v coffee club.. hee me n js treated candice lo.. =D her bday was on sunday ma... ^^ n i bought a card in vivo n wrote some msg as usual.. hee we havent met up for a looooong time man.. =) diving trip b4 i leave US!!! heehee wed(7mar) was a super slack day.., i think i wanted to go gym but i need to clear up watching overdue DVDs borrowed from esplanade lib, do theory.... nite was jamming w gavin pretty boy roy n bassist jared... hee had some great fun... lim teh n went home after tt... fri 9mar went to watch nus hamonica orchestra concert last min... good soloist performances! aik hong as usual damn zai... hee never get to congratulate him for the great solo.. the harpist was great!(fr rgs) the piano accompanist made grave error.. i guess he's too complacent n fumbled.. both of them r conductress' kids... the worst part of the concert was the last piece, where mdm KOH sang Time to Say Goodbye... aiyo! spoil the song in its entirety... damn.. yet to tell the whole world about it.. haha glad to see alot of them.. long time no see le.. mon 12 mar went to watch History Boys w RC at lido, had a quick bite at spinelli at UH n down for nus prac.. tues n wed was both tiring days.. down to sembawang in the morning... tues after work down to TGP to have lunch w serena n joey.. hee thanks joey for the treat.. wed after sembawang dashed down to holland for private lesson n down to newton for another private... then home to drop stuff n dinner b4 heading down to sws for prac... wat a tiring day! was surprised to see les online...and so we met up next day thurs down to henderson for some band exchange... kapo only la.. no $$ one.. haha since les worked just across the road we met up for breakfast... hee interesting exchange... i think my kids did so so only.. i expected worse .. hahaha back to sch w the kids to teach sec 1s.. then to bishan... n down to nus...faint.. another long day... fri.. down to lim kopi w joey... gym after tt.... last min she asked me to work for tt day but i rejected le... damn tired for the past few days.. sch hols ma.. 1st time i ever rejected any work when im avail for it.. =( need to get some rest b4 nusws concert on sun ma... =S so sad.. new wine flavour launch some more.. gosh.. sniff sniff.. later at nite met up w gavin n chit chat... he wanted to jam w me on accoustics in orchard?! i was like duh... orchard not much quiet place we can hide to jamm n sing song.. ended up i treated him cafe cartel.. coz last min his boss called him to work on sat.. sibei sian.. hee bumped into alistair there.. chatted for a while.. hee long time no see ma.. he's in NS.. =D sat as per normal work! great to end earlier than usual n down to ucc for the setup... gosh.. in a mess lo... let's not go into details.. then makan lo.. then soundcheck n rehearsal.. sibei zhuobo.. LOL... in bet soundcheck n rehearsal me n yangbin sneaked out of backstage n lim kopi outside.. haha by the time we went back havent start run thru.. hahahaha farnie sia.. didnt know tama performed for jazz band otherwise would have gone to disturb too... sun 18 march was the concert.. reacked ucc past 12pm... then concert at 5pm.. surprised to see the guardian of a student of mine there! they happened to know Ross, the emcee for the nite n came to watch the concert... hee told them barbara n family were there too but they didnt spot each other.. hee formally intro to ross n vice versa... he's a clarinet tutor... hee saw candice mohli rushan lizi zhuohao n duno who else tt came but never saw... enjoyed playing the concert though after tt everyone was complaining how they coked up certain parts here n there n i made a mistake which i think it's unforgiveable.. haha oh well wat's done cannot be undone.. after tt helped abit w the moving back of instru.. saw zack there at the bckstage after the concert.. LOL long time no see man.. so chatted for a while.. down to vivo sushi tei in nick's car w erina huishan derrick... flutes n tuba section went there while the rest of the section went down to holland v.. haha had a yummy n filling dinner... and jinyang treated!!! faintz.. quite paiseh.. jinyang i owe u a treat ok!!! went home after tt.. actually back to holland v.. coz cloud n co proceeded to haagen dazs after dinner@ crystal jade n desmondn shuling n yinxuan were the bin laden for some beer... dropped by bin laden to cbat for a while i promised to go back n save desmond... haha cheap beer.. $12 for a jug of erdinger?! hmmmm ARX was so busy trying to rush for deadline at 12midnight while the rest enjoyed the nite away.. lol.. when he was done past 11.30pm, he dashed out to find internet connection to submit his work.. haha i was worried he couldnt tab to any.. coz he went out for a looong time.. then by the time he came back 5 mins to midnight, he hasnt submit n his laptop hibernated already?!!! liew.. he was so stressed out n sian.. after all, he rushed to finish it but cannot submit!! i suggested go my house n submit lo... after much persuasion xianwei drove him to my house to settle this... stupidly, i unplucked everything from my laptop to pluck in his... only to find out tt he dun have inbuilt cd rom drive! (to install the adsl modem) and stupidly, i conveniently forgot i have my cute n portable external harddisk n in the end, he submitted his work using my laptop.. hahaha tt was ard 12.35am... wat the heck, it's still better than hijm reaching home then submit.. even later.. haha n can go home w a peace of mind rather than dashing home...not safe to do so....hee then went to bin laden to find desmond n co but they left liao.. hee missed all the beer drinking?!! hhahaha mon.. slack whole day.. shiok!! but sleep too much... =S met up w rc for a while at nite...hee just cant stay at home the entire day... hee tues(20th march) met up w candice after work for a nice meal n tatesd the cupcakes she bought online at carnivalandco.blogspot.com only avail via online order... pretty nice... tried the mocha n lavender... the lavender scent is soooooooo strong n nice... totally love it... the packagin etc was sooo exquisite... tt even one of the fish n co staff approached me while candice went to toilet to find out more about it n even copied down the email add... thurs(t0day! 22 mar) dragged myself to gym... i tot i saw san woo there... must ask him.. hee i know he's a member of cfc but never see him at lunch time one.. hee down to bishan for work n back to holland.. met up w jinyang n i lim kopi while i told him interesting stories about the band scene.. heehee he was sooo nice to treat us to crytsal jade la mian xiao long bao! he just got his performance bonus n increment so he was so happy tt he treated us.. so paiseh.. after the yummy dinner, down to CFA to go thru the debrief slides ourselves(LOL) n i practised abit of drumset there... went home after tt... walked past harry's n went in for a drink to support derrick n derek... hahaha damn enjoy sia... a glass of red wine by the bar... watch soccer... shiok! =D and stupid derek paid for my drink while i waited for the bill to appear lo... -_-''' haha nevertheless, thanks! derrick was pretty farnie.. coz he hasnt seen me with my short n bleached ash colour hair.. he said i look sexy lo -_-''' u win lo... home i came n now im typing so happily tt my mask is drying up my skin... i shall knock off now! tschuss! last updated 23march@1.51am p/s: fri-sun 10am for yamaha sales at clementi branch.. maybe i'll drop by later to see what's there... lalala
